The Mug Of Positivi-Tea - Where it all began…
It’s been a week since we launched, which makes it approximately four and a half years since I first released a product.
Not a Project Me product but the original Mug Of Positivi-tea, if you’re an OG, you’ll know and if you are, thank you so much for still being here. I released these mugs in collaboration with ‘The Prawn Shop’ and saw the opportunity to work with her again to re-launch these mugs with a new and improved (extra nude) design.
Our brand represents body confidence, which we wanted to highlight with these sexy ceramic senoritas. I’ve gone through my own personal body changes in the last few years but how i feel about myself remains the same. I love my body. I love everything that it goes through. I love what it can do. Quite simply I also wanted to combine this with my love for a good ol’ cuppa tea.
A cup of tea for me is also a hug in a mug and sometimes when things get tough all I need is that delicious warm beverage. It’s a weird combination, I know, but why not combine two of my non-negotiables in the form of a beautiful bright mug.
After growing and learning about myself and my loves for the past few years, I thought it would be quite symbolic to bring these mugs back.. It’s out with the old and in with the new!
